Most Mares suffer from some form of PMT (PMS) throughout the spring and summer months, a consequence of the natural ovulation cycles all mares have. Some mares suffer more than others and can become difficult to handle, grumpy and sometimes un-rideable.

In competition mares this can become a real problem as their unpredictible temperament can influence their performance greatly. Moody Mare contains a blend of herbs which helps make the mare feel more comfortable and relaxed when coming into season.

Why feed Herbs? Herbs have been used since for quite some time and it has been long recognised that they give nutritional benefits. Horses are now treated far differently and their grazing does not expose them to all the various herbs which used to form part of their diet. Herbs are not a wonder cure (nor are medicines, drugs and other manufactured products), yet what they can do is help to assist the natural body functions. For Example It is well known that chamomile help to relax the nervous system, Garlic helps to soothe the respiratory system and repell insects. How quickly will my order arrive?

Our aim is to dispatch all orders placed before 12 noon on the next working day (not inc bank holidays and weekends). Any orders placed after that time will be dispatched on the next available working day.

While we always try our best to dispatch every order following the above guidelines, during extremely busy periods dispatch times may increase by up to one day.
